Registration

1. Sign up or log in to begin.

2. Register for free as a basic member and activate your account with the activation link in your confirmation email.

3. Use the log in button at the top right of the welcome page to log in with your email address and your password.

Your personal home page

After your log in you use your personal home page to create your project or profile.
Here, you will also find your new projects or profiles and will be able to edit those.

Choose between:

• 'Create profile' to offer your skills and find a project
• 'Create project' to find an expert for your project

How to create a profile

1. Title

Aim at a significant title for your profile. The title will be a part of the calculation of the matching results. Also, an expressive title will attract attention and convey a first impression of your profile.

2. Location

Name the location you would prefer to work at. Only with a location your profile will be displayed in the location based matching.

3. Skills

List your skills as keywords first. You can range the level of your knowledge (ranging from basic to expert knowledge). The keywords are important for the calculation of the matching results, in addition to the title.

4. Description "About me"

Describe your skills and work experience to give interested providers of projects an exact idea of your skills. The description will also be factored into the calculation of the matching results.

5. Profile image or logo & Attachments

Upload an image and attach files, i.e. your cv as pdf document.

6. Customize period of publication & define visibility

Appoint the period of publication to publish the profile for a defined period of time. If you do not choose an individual period of time, the profile will be published directly after saving it.

In case you save the profile 'as a draft', it will be marked as 'inactive'. Your profile will then only be visible to you. Nevertheless, suitable matches for your draft will be displayed. This way, you can get informed about potential project partners without your profile appearing on other users' matching results.

In addition, you can define the visibility of your profile. You can decide, whether it is only going to be published on projektwerk creative or if it will be displayed on the projektwerk creative home page and found by search engines.

7. Notification about new matches

If you want to get a daily notification about new matches via email, just activate the checkbox.

How to create a project

1. Title

Name the destination, where the project will take place. Please enter a real city or district name. The system cannot handle other expressions.

3. Skills

List your project's most important requirements as keywords. You can range the level of knowledge you desire (ranging from basic to expert knowledge). The keywords are important for the calculation of the matching results, in addition to the title.

4. Description

Describe your project´s requirements and basic conditions to give interested freelancers an idea of the project. The description will also be factored into the calculation of the matching results.

5. Image & File upload

Upload a picture and files. A picture is essential for the favorable appearance of your project.

6. Customize period of publication & define visibility

Appoint the period of publication to publish the project for a defined period of time. If you do not choose an individual period of time, the project will be published for four weeks after saving it.

In case you save the project 'as draft', it will be marked as 'inactive'. Your project will then only be visible to you. Nevertheless, suitable matches for your project will be displayed. This way, you can get informed about potential project partners without the project appearing on other users´ matching results.

In addition, you can define the visibility of your project. You can decide, whether it is only going to be published on projektwerk creative or if it will be displayed on the projektwerk creative home page and found by search engines.

7. Notification about new matches

If you want to get a daily notification about new matches via email, just activate the checkbox.

The Matching

The matching rate between projects and profiles is being calculated with the help of the title, the keywords concerning requirements and skills as well as the descriptive text. Hence, significant information is vital to achieve optimal matching results. The more complete and concise the information in your project or profile is, the more fitting is the matching result.

1. Matching Overview

As soon as your project or profile is published or saved as a draft, fitting matches and similar profiles or projects are being displayed.

The list with the matching results shows the title, location, creation date and matching skills at a glance. Since the quality of the matches is being relative to the total of your matches, it can change when constricting the matching results, e.g. through the slider ('time slider') at the top.

You can also limit your matching results temporally and regionally. For example if you want to see the results from the last 7 days only, use the 'time slider' to adjust the desired amount of days. If you want to see only results around your locations, just use the 'location slider' and set the radius.

2. Detailed view

If you want to see the details of an interesting match, expand the match view and inform yourself about the consistency and contact possibilities. The matching skills are highlighted, so you can identify them easily. Here you can bookmark an interesting match or contact the member directly.

3. Similar projects or profiles

Not only matches, fitting project partners, but also similar projects or profiles are being displayed. That way, you are able to stay up to date about the market.

Contact

Your contact information

If you do not want to get contacted via email only, you can use the check boxes to choose which contact information shall be visible for other members in the 'settings'. Interested providers of projects or freelancer will thus be able to get in contact with you directly.

Contact interesting project partners

After having read the detailed view of an interesting match, you can contact the member directly via the prompted contact information. Use the "contact" button to send an e-mail with your profile's or project's matching link. You can also save this match with the 'bookmark' button and contact the respective member later. You will find the marked projects or profiles via the 'bookmark' tab.
